The Witney Town Charity offers grants to help individuals and families in financial hardship.
This may be due to changes in financial circumstances, such as illness, unemployment,
relationship breakdown or the transition to independent living. These small grants can help
in obtaining essential household items such as a cooker, fridge, freezer or washing machine.
However, grants will not be awarded for carpets.
Grants are awarded to those in financial hardship but must be made via an application from
a professional who knows the individual’s situation. This may be a support worker, housing
officer, social worker, school, Citizens Advice or another local agency. Note that grants are
not paid to the individual, but to the organisation, who made the application.
